Just called the Juror Status number for next week's schedule, and I am not required to appear for the third week in a row. I'm starting to think they don't like me or something.
This is federal court, and you're on call for a solid month. You check in every Friday afternoon to find out if they want you for a trial during the following week. I have to call in twice more until I'm off the hook.
So far, they haven't required me to show up. Can't imagine why they wouldn't want a rape survivor with a gun.

wow, how long do you get stuck on duty there? here in MA it is one day or one trial unless it is for a grand jury. . .
