Beneath Contempt

Just when I thought my opinion of Ted Kennedy couldn't get any lower, William The Coroner had to remind us of this.

ETA: Looks like William The Coroner's post is gone, for whatever reason. That's okay. Plenty of others are pointing out the same things.

Yeah, we shouldn't forget that. I didn't need to be reminded, however, since that piece of information has colored my every perception of what he said, what he did, and who he was.

Thanks for the link. I'm sure he did something, according to his lights, for the people of Massachusetts, but this incident, and the college cheating incident makes me queasy.

The link has been deactivated. Wonder why?

Wonder why indeed.

No matter. There are plenty of other sources for the truth.

It was pointed out that there are forensic inaccuracies in the Daily Mail report. I don't have time to chase them down. Even if Teddy's "innocent" explanation is taken at face value, he made no efforts whatsoever to help Mary Jo for hours. These are the actions of a slimeball.

What's the deal with Catholic doctrine? Is Ted in hell on account of the Mary Jo issue, and his support for abortion? Or did some Catholic higher up pardon him for admission into heaven?

Seriously. How can the Catholic clergy gush over his funeral when he did all these things?
